Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide: A Manual of Practice, 3rd Edition

This April 2020 updated manual describes the pavement design methodology termed mechanistic-empirical (M-E) pavement design. Based on engineering mechanics that have been validated through extensive road test performance data, the manual presents information necessary for pavement design engineers to use the MEPDG design and analysis method. The manual references AASHTOWare Pavement ME Design™, M-E Pavement design software, commercially available through AASHTOWare, AASHTO’s software development program.

Materials Standards Master Table of Contents (TOC)- This document includes all of the Materials Standards and their publication group. This TOC is intended to enable users to more easily navigate the AASHTO bookstore when looking for specific standards. The TOC includes standards by material type, standards sorted alphanumerically, and the standards with their most recent action and brief summary of changes. This document will be updated in July upon the release of the 3rd group of standards.
The AASHTO Publications Style Manual and Process Guide was created to assist the many committee volunteers, vendors, consultants, and internal staff in providing, editing, formatting, and preparing content for AASHTO publications. It provides information for authors, editors, and designers about AASHTO design preferences, style and editorial rules, and print and digital publication guidelines.
