I recommend removal of Section 6.6 along with Note 4 and a revision to Figure 1 to remove the vacuum gauge connected to the vacuum source.  In the method, the technician is to control the pressure in the system based on readings of the residual pressure manometer that is at the end of the system (Section 6.5).  It is rare to see anyone refer to the gauge in section 6.6 at any time, but if they do, they usually read it incorrectly.  I can revise the figure if needed.
